Football competitions, global and local, that no other game has, has ever had, or probably ever will.
What's new
- World 2026-27, a new historic career world: 91 countries, 2,385 clubs with their real squads at the end of the summer 2026 transfer window, 264 competitions. In CLASSIC CAREERS choose WORLD 2026-27, or use the new green CAREER 2026-27 button on the main menu (next to CAREER): it opens the career menu, and its CHOOSE TEAM goes straight to the world's continents.
- Every league in its real 2026-27 format: groups, splits (title and relegation groups), Apertura / Clausura, conferences, promotion, title and placement play-offs, play-outs, real relegations; Costa Rica, Honduras and Panama with two tournaments a season and their real final phases; Italy down to the real Serie D (9 groups) with its play-offs and the Coppa Italia Serie D on its real bracket.
- Every national cup and league cup from its real round, the 13 Brazilian state championships, their tables in colour.
- The UEFA cups with the league phase, and 12 new continental competitions: Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Recopa, CONCACAF Champions Cup, AFC Champions League Elite, Champions League Two and Challenge League, CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup and Super Cup, OFC Champions League, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup (the real stepladder). Clubs of associations that are not in the world play as guests with their real squads.
- Every table in colour (titles, cups, promotion, play-offs, play-outs, relegation) with one legend at the top left; every competition has a FORMAT page in plain words, in 4 languages.
- One engine for all of it: groups, splits, play-offs and cups share the same rules (one knockout rule for the mod's play-offs: extra time, then the better-placed club goes through; no replays).
- Europe 1984-85 (DaniSwos's database): tables in colour and FORMAT pages too.
- One-click install (Chrome or Edge): choose the game folder and the patcher does the rest, keeping a backup of the files it changes; it can also copy the game from the CD. The page is in 4 languages.
Install or update
- The patcher page (attached below) upgrades the original game and every published version (CD and GOG, also the English SWOS++ version). Step-by-step guide: English · Italiano.
- Start a new career to play the World 2026-27. Careers of the 1996-97 game and of the Europe 1984-85 world saved with earlier versions load and play on.
Known limits (declared)
- European places: in some seasons one of the 108 European places goes to a club of a different association from the one the access list names; the number of clubs in each cup and the holders' places are always right (fixed in the upcoming 4.0.1).
- Copa Libertadores: the group thirds' move to the Sudamericana play-off is simulated (played in the upcoming 4.0.1).
- AFC: the Champions League Elite league stage and the Challenge League groups are simulated; your club joins the Elite at the round of 16 and the Challenge League at the quarter-finals.
- After a job offer letter a few stray pixels can appear on the menu buttons until the next match: cosmetic only.
- The season end shows every open competition in turn: in this world it takes longer than in the original game.
- The World 2026-27 has no national teams yet (planned for the upcoming 4.2).
